The Age of Mitzvah seminar is geared toward Israeli public school students of bar and bat mitzvah age. Due to the nature of the educational tracks of their schools, these students do not learn Jewish prayer or Jewish law as a matter of course. Offered as a two-day seminar (in cooperation with the TALI Educational Fund), this program is implemented through a circuit of experiential classrooms and outdoor nature stations, which inform and engage the participants in egalitarian Jewish prayer, rituals, and values. Students have the opportunity to both learn and experience Jewish themes and practice in advance of and in preparation for their bar and bat mitzvahs.
