Graduates of the Hannaton Mechina in Emek Yizrael took to the streets last night demanding that representatives of Kahana be prohibited from serving in the Knesset. The central protest, initiated by the Head of the Hannaton Mechina, Rabbi Yoav Ende, under the headline “A Jewish Voice Against Kahanism”, took place at the Alonim junction near the town of Tivon. “The voice we want to make heard is not a democratic voice or a civil voice, but rather a Jewish voice. The Torah teaches us that every person is created in the image of God. We demand that Kahana representatives be prohibited from the Knesset, and that rabbis and public leaders stop accepting them, as they have been doing” said Rabbi Ende.
